2019 will be the 10th anniversary of the UK Speechwriters’ Guild, which was founded in 2009.

Our spring conference will take place from 3-5 April 2018. Pre-conference training will take place on 3 April.

In 2018 we went to King’s College, Cambridge, so it seems appropriate that in 2019 we go to Queen’s College, Oxford.

This will be the sixth conference at an Oxford or Cambridge venue. Our delegates like beautiful architecture, central location, an impressive dining hall and on-campus accommodation, Queen’s ticks all these boxes.

The college is very compact, with lots of winding pathways and a very modern auditorium seating 110 people.

Early-bird tickets will go on sale at the beginning of September.

The Queen’s College has many distinguished alumni, including Rowan Atkinson, Tim Berners-Lee and John Wycliffe (translator of the Bible). It stands next to Queen’s Lane Coffee House, one of the oldest coffee shops in England.
